with Graduate Student Counseling Interns
Session Fee: $40 for standard intern rate. $60 for senior interns.
Accepting virtual and in-person clients in Missouri and Kansas.
One of the values of BrianJames Therapy is to make therapy accessible to our community. We consider it a privilege to partner with local graduate programs to develop, prepare, and equip student therapists professionally, clinically, and personally.
Our student interns offer sessions at $40-$60/hour with sliding scale options available on a case by case basis.

Hi, I’m Andy, and I believe that stories matter. Your story matters.
But here’s the deal: stories are filled with all sorts of tensions. Joy and pain. Accomplishment and failure. Community and isolation. Sometimes, these tensions can leave us feeling anxious, overwhelmed, depressed, or stuck. As a counselor, I want to help you recognize and hold these tensions so you can know your story better and move forward with hope and healing.
Areas of Clinical Interest:
I work with diverse groups of clients, but I especially enjoy working with couples who need support walking through a rough patch and adults looking to get unstuck.
